Adaptive Golf

Launched in 2024 as part of the MGA’s effort to provide inclusive opportunities in golf, the MGA Adaptive Golf Program provides clinics for local organizations to introduce participants to the fundamentals of golf.

The 2025 season was one of growth for the Adaptive Golf Program with more clinics, more participants, and new relationships. The program provided 69 clinics for more than 394 participants in each area of the MGA’s footprint, working together with organizations that provide programs for children and adults with intellectual and developmental impairments.

Clinics are held at indoor golf facilities, school gyms, driving ranges, clubs and courses, and parks, where participants are introduced to the basics of the game in a fun and inclusive environment with MGA staff and trained instructors leading the sessions.

Designed to teach the fundamental skills, including grip, stance, and swing, the sessions are wonderful opportunities for a first introduction to golf and an important new offering for the various participating programs and organizations.
